    What is Patent License:
    An agreement with an Asian manufacturer to produce HID bulbs that had the  Patent License printed on them.
    They were allowed to do this because the bulbs did utilize quartz glass. These bulbs are a step up from standard HID bulbs you will find on the market with better material and craftsmanship.
