    Description

    Gorgeous plate from Naval Submarine Base in Bangor. The base was established in 1942 as a site for shipping ammunition to the Pacific Theater of Operations. It was located near the Hood Canal and remained in operation through the Korean and Vietnam wars and was eventually merged with Naval Station Bremerton to become Naval Base Kitsap.
    Syracuse China manufactured this beautiful plate in 1980. It features the trident and dolphin logo of the submariners in coin gold overglaze with matching gold stripes on a white and cobalt blue plate. It measures 10 1/2inches and appears to have never been used. Near mint condition.
